Art is the door to artistic, cultural, historical and personal enrichment and as far as I am concerned it is one of the most appealing and diverse subjects that expresses itself through various supports such as sculpture, paintings , drawings, photography or even installations and performances. Art is not only beautiful, for me is the reflection of the humanity and this is one of the main reasons I want to study Fine Art.
Being attracted to the Expressionism movement I have noticed that most of my engravings have a tensed note and a dramatic atmosphere .Having the opportunity to see and find more about the works of Mario Merz , M.Pistoletto, Egon Schille, Klimt and Picasso’s etchings, contributed to expanding my artistic horizons.
I would like to explore and enlarge my techniques and to approach this goal. I would also like not to limit myself to an academic approach of the form; I would like to integrate it into a deeper concept. Therefore the purpose of my works would not be one of reproducing or deforming the reality but one of extending and experimenting a personal vision. This is why lately I have tackled a more daring vision using forms geometer, creating rhythms and textures that enabled me to wish to experiment much more.
I would like to explore film and photography and to make them part of my work.By doing this I want to observe and to investigate how much impact the media has in one's life and how the symbiosis between media and art can make a change in ourselves. I have also realised that an artistic concept is understood differently depending on the techniques used.
As I have already mentioned so far if the onlookers is faced to a finished product is up to us if we are able to transmit more than it can be seen.
